My client is looking for an experienced technician to join their team and become a Contact Lens Technician on a permanent basis. As a Contact Lens Technician you will be required to manufacture lenses to the highest standard. You will be working in a sterile, clinical setting with no natural light due to the nature of the manufacturing process. Hours will be 11:00 to 19:30 Monday to Friday.
Technician Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- To manufacture contact lenses in an efficient manner, reducing scrappage and ensuring all lenses are of a high standard.
- Ensuring lead times are met and prioritising overdue and urgent lenses
- To keep a clean, safe, and tidy workspace
Technician Experience:
- Manufacturing or assembly line experience desirable but not essential as full training will be given.
Technician Personal Qualities:
- Education: GCSE English and Maths.
